Japan has got to be the most schizophrenic country in the world (though it has close competition from England). How does this nation of supposedly polite and restrained people manage to spew forth the most wild and extreme music ever made? That's a hard one, but there's some stunning music to listen to here while you dwell on it.
Heard a couple of tracks by the ZZZ's and they DEFINITELY didn't put me to sleep. Loved them! Thanks for the rec, man. Drop me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org any time you have any more. And good luck with the music-making.

Just saw an awesome band I would not have liked if not for your radio shows.
Yes! I was at the Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia, PA last night playing a show UPSTAIRS and I decided to go DOWNSTAIRS to check out the much louder, much wrecking-ballier music happening down there. LO AND BEHOLD! A 3-piece experimental/post punk band of Japanese girls called the ZZZ'S. Check their website out! I didn't have any cash (being a broke musician myself) to buy their EP but it's called "Prescription" and it was packaged in this little resealable medical bag that had a japanese prescription bag look to it. CHECK THEM OUT!
~~The ZZZ'S~! You would did them, I think. THANKS!
